I hate how Trump talks, I hate his ego, I hate his continued stance on the last presidential election, I hate his sense of humor (and for those who know me well you know I would tell him that, if I was in the same room with him). I hate the fact he bullied people in business, and likely cheated in business, how he used litigation time and again in business to gain advantage. But guess what, my vote is for his policies, not his personality. His past policies worked and the policies he’s presenting now will work. He has serious minded policies on his platform.

I look at it this way; you don’t need to have him over for dinner, you don’t need to have a beer with him, play golf with him, or even watch him on tv at all. Just turn the damn news off which is crap anyways. I didn’t vote for Trump the first time. His rhetoric was so ugly and personal and polarizing toward and about people domestically and internationally he didn’t agree with, instead of uniting, and his ego so big that I honestly thought he was going to cause a nuclear war or a World War at the least. I was really concerned about it. I was proven wrong and I am glad I was. I am glad despite his bullying as a businessman and so forth, that as an elected official he has actually been effective and made this country better, very importantly the economy in particular. It goes to show that he certainly isn’t perfect (and none of us are), but he now is doing a lot of good as a public servant.

So again, I won’t be having the blabber mouth over for dinner or a drink. I will however VOTE for the JERK!

I will not unfriend anyone who votes for someone else, I will respect your vote. Everyone has their own conclusion to make and the beauty of our democracy is our freedom of speech. Thank God and our Founding Fathers for that! And just because you vote for someone whose policies you believe are best for your family, align with your faith, best for your country, doesn’t mean you are that person you voted for. You just believe his or her policies are more aligned with your values and with the direction you want this country to go.
